i have been searching for months to find a photo of a lion in safari to put on a canvas block

Safari, Tanzania pictures on day 2 has a fab lion picture, very simple

i was wondering if by any small chance you would be able to send me the photo in jpg so i could put it on my wall! i know its cheeky but it would be such a blessing!

Hi Belinda

Yes the POP hotel was a good, clean place to stay, had a nice pool and there were regular buses to the various parks.

If I remember correctly you might need to change buses from the Magic Kingdom to Downtown Disney. Depending on what time of day or night it is, and how big the bus queues are, I would leave yourself about an hour to be sure.

My trip didn't take in either of the water parks, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, or Universal Studios - which I have been told are places to include if possible. Although seeing these places will add another day or 2 onto your trip.

For seeing the parks I saw, three days was enough to go on all the rides and see the shows in the evening. This guide really was invaluable and I recommend making the most of your fast pass.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Doug

Hi Doug,
Im planning a trip to walt disney world, and was wondering if you were happy with the POP hotel you stayed at? i havent got a big budget, and need something CLEAN, DECENT, and of course something that DOES NOT SMELL for a few nights. it doesnt need to be luxurious.... would u recommend this hotel?
also, how far is downtown disney to the magic kingdom?
and one other question, to see MOST of the attractions in each of the parks, how many days do you think we would need. we dont want to be rushed or miss out on much. any ideas?

thanks sooo much.
(so many questions, because im from SYDNEY AUSTRALIA.

I wish I was there! It sounds like an adventure. I went all the way to Mt Kilimanjaro also but didn't climb. I also wonder if you had some problems with persistant guides? Or is it better when you go with a group of people?

I liked my experience with Virgin Atlantic also. They seem caring and responsible. They also answer the phone promptly!
Mind you at the moment Xl airways are top contender for me because they warn nervous passengers like myself about turbulence. Not sure about the state of the actual planes though. Something was leaking on me all the way back and when I reported it to the cabin crew they told me not to worry because it is just the air-conditioning… :-)

Hi Pete

Thanks for commenting on my blog, it's always great to have interaction with the people who read my stories.

The glacier at the top of the mountain used to completely cover the summit. However, it has started to recede and and now the top is rock. The top is surrounded by a glacier and there is a path going up on side of the mountain where you go up and over the glacier to reach the top.

Temperatures at night usually dropped to between 0 and -5 degrees centigrade. Sometimes when we woke up in the night or early mornings the outside of the tent was frozen over. Most nights we ended up wearing practically all our clothes, hats and gloves. We made sure all batteries were kept warm, usually stuffed inside our sleeping bags, as the cold weather drains their power quicker.

I have uploaded a couple more pictures of my climb, with one of the glacier at the top.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions,

Thanks and I hope you continue to enjoy my blog.
