So just wanted to comment on how good my flight was from London Heathrow to Washington Dulles airport with Virgin Atlantic.
I’ve not flown with Virgin Atlantic before and was pleasantly surprised at how good their check-in, flight and staff were.
I arrived in Heathrow a little later than I planned but still with 2 hours to spare. I had checked in online the day before so that saved having to worry about that. Checking in my baggage was short and sweet and then it was off to chill in the departure lounge for a bit.
The flight wasn’t fully booked and so it meant I got both window and aisle seat. Lots of food, free alcohol and a wide range of movies meant the flight there (and back) went by smoothly.

I’ve never been very good at keeping a journal whilst traveling - or even a diary generally - I always seem too busy to sit down and write about my thoughts and what I have seen. However, I have decided that I need to record somewhere the places I have seen and the things I have done whilst traveling the world.
At 26 I would say I have done a pretty fair amount of traveling, more then some, less than others. But nevertheless I think it is about time I get things down and share my travels.
I’ve always tried to go traveling whenever it was possible, whether it was taking a gap year before university, or on summer holiday, or even a long weekend away in Europe. Every chance I get I try and take it.
Bare with me as I get used to getting my travel stories down, I’ve never been a much of ‘William Shakespeare’ at writing but I do believe if you are passionate about something then you can write about it and the stories will flow. Any tips or advice you feel like sending my way please feel free, and also if you have any travel stories or travel advice or tips that you would like to pass on let me know and I will create a post for you.
So here goes…
